Founded in 2008, the Hudgens Apiary is a small suburban beekeeping operation with four hives at two sites.
In our first year of operation, we have learned a great deal about bee behavior, plant biology, weather, and the Earth itself. We are pleased to provide some assistance to the bees, and we hope that future years will provide ample opportunities for more hives, more bees, and more honey. As we learn about proper manangment, our goal is to ensure that a balance is struck between us, the bees, and our shared environment.

If you live in the Louisville metro area, and need a swarm of bees removed from your property, feel free to contact me. I'm willing to do swarm removal from low tree branches, playgrounds, and other easily accessible structures. I don't have the equipment to do extensive cut-outs.
